Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama Crimson Tide are looking to build off last week’s monster win at Georgia as they host Vanderbilt in a revenge game from last season. The Crimson Tide lost the matchup 40-35 last season, and they are going to be ready to go for this game.

During the win against Georgia, safety Keon Sabb had to leave the game after being injured on a hit against Bulldogs receiver Zachariah Branch.

While he wasn’t able to finish up last week’s game, Sabb is going to be able to play, according to DeBoer.

“His volume has continued to increase working through fall camp,” Kalen DeBoer added. “I think he’s getting better and better each week, more comfortable, just physically. I thought he’s played his best football here as of late.”

Sabb and the Crimson Tide will be tested by a Vanderbilt offense led by quarterback Diego Pavia. The senior quarterback has thrown for 1,211 yards and 13 touchdowns, while also rushing for 294 yards and two more scores. The Commodores are coming off a game where they scored 55 points in the win against Utah State.

Last season, Pavia was 16-of-20 for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 40-35 upset over the Crimson Tide.

Kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be on ABC with College GameDay taking place in Tuscaloosa.
