Kalen DeBoer has been the Alabama head coach for a while now, but the game against Georgia on Saturday really put a stamp on the fact that he is the head guy in Tuscaloosa.

The Crimson Tide responded to Georgia’s furious comeback attempt, scoring just one play after the Bulldogs took a late lead. But earlier in the game DeBoer showed his passion when he lost it on a call by the officials, heated that pass interference was not called.

Here’s a look at the instance in question:

He was asked about that on Monday, and talked about how he was letting it be known what he saw.

“I don’t think you predetermine when or what you are going to do,” DeBoer said when talking about his fiery response to a call. “The guys are fighting. When you see something a certain way. I just felt like that was a big time in the game. We were doing a lot of things well. I was just fighting for my team. They were out there fighting and doing everything they could. I saw it a different way and wanted to make it known.”

DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will be back in action this week as they hit the road to take on Vanderbilt. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET and the game will be on the SEC Network.
