I would say act like you’ve been there before, but the truth is, Kansas hasn’t been there in 677 days — since October 26, 2019. On that day, Kansas beat Texas Tech 37-34.

On Friday night, the Jayhawks broke a torrid losing streak by defeating the FCS South Dakota Coyotes 17-14, and afterwards, Kansas fans stormed the field. Yes, after being an FCS program.

Is this what rock bottom looks like?

Kansas scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:12 remaining, as quarterback Jason Bean connected with receiver Lawrence Arnold for the 16-yard score.

New head coach Lance Leipold, who was hired from Buffalo, may just get a statue in Lawrence now.

Naturally, Twitter hammered the Jayhawks, too.
