Kario Oquendo, a former Georgia shooting guard, has announced his top 4 schools as he looks for a new program to transfer to ahead of next season.
Oquendo shared that the schools he will prioritize are Auburn, Utah, Oregon and Nebraska. The 6-foot-4 Oquendo has up to 2 years of eligibility remaining if he decides not to go pro. The deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the draft process is May 31.
Oquendo started 28 of the 29 games he played in out of Georgia’s 32 games this past season. He was the team’s second-leading scorer with 12.7 points per game. Oquendo also averaged 2.6 rebounds per game and had 18 assists and 15 steals.
I am extremely grateful for all the schools that reached out showing interest in recruiting me but going forward I will be prioritizing these 4 schools :????

Oquendo nearly left after Tom Crean was fired, but was convinced to stay for one more season. But near the end of this past season, his playing time steadily diminished down the stretch.
