Keith Marshall returned for Georgia’s eighth practice of the spring Tuesday, but didn’t participate in contact drills according to Seth Emerson of the Macon Telegraph, instead running in pads with others on the sideline.

The junior running back had been out for several days following an undisclosed hamstring injury and was one of several Bulldogs limited Thursday, including linebacker Davin Bellamy and defensive end Michael Barnett.

Mark Richt said sophomore tailback Sony Michel is likely out for the remainder of spring practice after suffering a shoulder injury last week.

“We got the work in today and I think we’re getting better little by little,” Richt said. “The offense was a little sloppy today. We had trouble picking up blitzes. But we had our first 1-minute drill and the execution was good. So we’re getting there.”

Georgia’s second spring scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday.
