Florida forward Keith Stone transferring from Mike White’s Gator program
Florida looks to have plenty of talent entering Mike White’s program this offseason but it will also reportedly be losing a veteran presence following the conclusion of the season.
According to college basketball insider Jeff Goodman of Stadium, rising senior Keith Stone plans to leave the program via transfer. Stone is projected to be a graduate transfer from Florida.
Stone missed the second half of the Gators’ season after tearing his ACL. The Deerfield Beach native appeared in every game during his sophomore season after coming off the bench and making 34 appearances during his redshirt freshman season. His final appearance for the Gators came against Georgia back on Jan. 19, when he suffered his ACL injury.
Stone averaged 6.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.6 assists this season for the team.
There’s been no indication that Stone has made his decision where he will transfer but if he is indeed a graduate transfer, he will be eligible to play immediately next season regardless of where he decides to finish out his college career.
