Kendrick Rogers simply would not be denied on this one.
The Aggie receiver was well short of the end zone when Kellen Mond hit him and third and seven, in fact, Rodgers had to fight just to get the first down, but the junior wasn’t satisfied with just a catch and first down — he wanted more on this play.
Somehow, Rodgers stayed on his feet and fought off multiple Mississippi State defenders to get into the end zone to give Texas A&M a 27-7 lead in the first half against the Bulldogs. The ensuing extra point pushed the lead to 28-7.
