WATCH: Arkansas gives fans opportunity to check out new Razorback assistant Kenny Ingram in action on the practice field
Razorback fans may not know much about the team’s new defensive tackles coach Kenny Ingram but Arkansas is doing its best to alleviate that this spring.
The longtime Gus Malzahn assistant is taking in his first spring practice on The Hill working for Chad Morris and judging by the video below, the linemen he has to work with on the practice field are already loving their new position coach.
Earlier this offseason, the Memphis native discussed the pride he takes in recruiting his hometown for Chad Morris and Arkansas.
“It’s huge for me, it’s huge for me because one, I’m proud of it because it has paid dividends in my life. Who I am, whatever I will be, it’s because of where I come from and I come from Memphis,” Ingram said back in February. “I’m proud, for one, to be able to model, have success as a kid from Memphis, as a person or a young man from Memphis, and I want to be able to share that with other young men. I’m definitely looking forward to being able to do that here.”
With his recruiting acumen already noted, the school’s official football Twitter account shared the first look at Ingram in action on the practice field on Wednesday:
