While Kentucky’s 2016 season isn’t over, the Wildcats are already excited about getting the 2017 campaign underway.
UK’s Twitter announced Tuesday that the 2017 spring game will be played on April 14, and is being moved to a Friday night kickoff.

Florida found notable success with a Friday night spring game in 2016. The Gators had 46,000 fans make it to The Swamp for the 2016 Orange and Blue Debut, up from 21,000 in 2015, a traditional Saturday afternoon scrimmage. Kentucky had 28,441 attend its spring game this past season.
Big Blue Nation will likely be excited for Year 5 of the Mark Stoops era, coming off a Dec. 31 appearance in the TaxSlayer Bowl.
