Just days after his arrest for drug trafficking, Kentucky has announced the dismissal of reserve defensive back Marcus Walker. This news was first reported by Jen Smith of the Herald Ledger.

Walker was reportedly found last week and charged with marijuana and cocaine possession, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. Had he been on the roster for the 2018 season, Walker would have been a junior for the Wildcats.

Walker was a regular contributor for the Wildcats last season, appearing in 12 of 13 games. As a freshman, he appeared in nine games for the team. He is a native of Lake Wales, Fla. and signed with Kentucky as a member of ESPN’s Top 300 in the 2015 recruiting class.
