Kentucky lands commitment No. 3 of 2020 cycle, a 3-star DB from South Carolina

The Kentucky Wildcats got off to a bit of a slow start in the 2020 recruiting cycle, but now they’re building some momentum.
On Monday afternoon, they landed their second commitment in two days, picking up a pledge from 3-star DB Andru Phillips.
As you can see below, the South Carolina native announced his decision via his Twitter page:

Per the 247Sports composite, Phillips is the No. 78 cornerback in the class of 2020 and the No. 16 overall recruit from the state of South Carolina.
Prior to Phillips’ commitment, the Wildcats’ recruiting class was ranked No. 64 in the nation and No. 14 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
