Sophomore linebacker K.D. McDaniel has decided to enter the transfer portal, per a report.

On Tuesday afternoon, it was revealed that the former 3-star linebacker was going to explore other options besides Kentucky:

McDaniel, who was a 3-star athlete out of Tifton, Georgia, played in only 5 games this season for the Wildcats, totaling only 6 tackles.

His best game was when he assisted on 3 tackles on defense in the Wildcats’ victory over Vanderbilt.

When he committed to the Wildcats back in 2018, McDaniel was told by Kentucky coaches he may play outside linebacker.

In his time in Lexington, he had a grand total of 15 tackles. McDaniel has not mentioned where he may be headed next.

We’ll see when he announces and where he ends up next.
