Kentucky linebacker suspended vs. Florida and not on Week 3 depth chart

Kentucky OLB Kobie Walker was noticeably absent from the Wildcats’ defense on Saturday evening as the Florida Gators rolled to an easy 45-7 victory.

Now we know why — Walker was apparently suspended for the Florida game.

The sophomore had 10 tackles in a Week 1 loss to Southern Miss, but after serving a suspension against the Gators, he’s not even listed on the Week 3 depth chart, according to SB Nation.

In a defense clearly searching for playmakers after a lopsided loss in Gainesville, losing Walker will certainly hurt.

Coach Mark Stoops has yet to say what the suspension was for or give an update on Walker’s status.
