Ngongba is a major target for the Wildcats in the class of 2024. He’s the No. 25 overall player and the No. 5 center in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
The 5-star prospect took his official visit to Lexington back in September. He’s also visited Duke this fall and has a trip scheduled to Manhattan for this coming weekend — just days before he announces his final decision.
Ngongba is listed at 6-foot-10, 250 pounds. He projects to be a versatile big man on both ends of the floor at the next level.
Kentucky has two commitments so far in the class of 2024, including one from 4-star center Somto Cyril. He committed to the Wildcats back in June. Overall, Kentucky’s class sits at No. 20 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
