One Kentucky lineman has chosen to return to his home state.

OG Jarret LaRubbio is transferring to Miami (Ohio) according to a report by MAC sports blog HustleBelt.com which has been confirmed by UK per 247Sports.

The three-star Middletown, Ohio product signed with the Wildcats as part of the class of 2014. He redshirted for his first year on campus and saw limited action last season.

LaRubbio’s departure should not affect the Wildcats’ starting lineup with starting guards Ramsey Meyers and Nick Haynes returning for 2016.

LaRubbio will not be eligible to play for Miami (Ohio) until the 2017 season.
