Kentucky releases hype video ahead of season opener against Louisiana-Monroe

The Kentucky Wildcats get their 2021 season started on Saturday as Louisiana-Monroe visits Kroger Field.
It’s the first time since 2014 that the 2 teams have met on the gridiron. That was Mark Stoops’ 2nd season in Lexington, and he’ll hope that things end in a similar fashion this time around as the Wildcats won that one 48-14. They lead the all-time series 4-1.
This year, after finishing 4th in the SEC East in back-to-back seasons, Kentucky will look to build on the momentum it gained in 2018, where it finished with 10 wins and a No. 12 ranking. On Thursday, the Wildcats released a hype video ahead of the season opener against the Warhawks.

Kentucky and Louisiana-Monroe are set to kick off from Kroger Field on Saturday at noon ET. The game will be shown on the SEC Network.
