Kentucky lost RB Kavosiey Smoke to the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month and now he’ll be joined by another Wildcat runner in the portal.

On Tuesday, Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports reported that Michael Drennen II was entering his name into the portal.

Drennen, a member of Kentucky’s 2020 recruiting class as a 4-star player, will have 3 years of eligibility remaining at his new school:

Drennen becomes the 10th Kentucky player to enter the portal this offseason. Where he ends up next remains to be seen.

Drennen didn’t appear in any games for the Wildcats in 2022. In his Kentucky career, he ran for 17 yards and a touchdown and had 5 catches for 29 yards.
