Kentucky has seen its latest departure of a player to the transfer portal, and that brings the Wildcats’ roster movement this offseason to 8 transfer portal additions and 15 departures.

Tomiwa Durojaiye announced on social media that he would enter the portal, and thanked the coaching staff, and explained how he grew as a person and a player.

“I would like to thank Coach Stoops, Coach White and the rest of Kentucky Football for an unbelievable opportunity,” Durojaiye wrote. This past year I’ve grown as a person, as a player and made lifetime friends and memories. With that said and after much thought and consideration, I will be entering the transfer portal with 4 years of eligibility.”

Durojaiye redshirted last season after he was a mid-year enrollee a year ago, and played in 3 games against Miami (Ohio), Youngstown State and Iowa. The Delaware native was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school, according to 247Sports, and the 3rd-best player in the state of Delaware.
