Kentucky is 4-0 thanks to a 16-10 win over South Carolina.

It wasn’t always pretty — the Wildcats turned the ball over 3 times — but Mark Stoops’ team will be carrying an undefeated record into Kroger Field on Oct. 2 as they welcome Florida. It’s the 7th win in 8 tries for Kentucky as they blew out the Gamecocks 41-18 in 2020. Chris Rodriguez had 144 yards on 26 carries while Kavioskey Smoke added a touchdown run. Meanwhile, Wan’Dale Robinson brought in 7 catches for 65 yards.

And the Wildcats made sure to deliver a little dig to their hosts, playing the song “Sandstorm”, one every Gamecock fan knows, in the visitors’ locker room postgame.

Check out the video below from the Instagram story of offensive lineman Marquan McCall:

The Wildcats will be the underdog, though, as they host the Gators next Saturday. Florida has dominated the all-time series and will be looking to capitalize on a blowout win over Tennessee at the Swamp.
