Kentucky WR, 4-star member of 2022 recruiting class announces intentions to hit transfer portal

One Kentucky WR is the latest player to announce plans to enter the transfer portal ahead of the summer.

On Tuesday, Jordan Anthony announced his intentions to hit the portal with 4 years of eligibility remaining. Anthony joined the Wildcats as a 4-star athlete in the 2022 recruiting class.

“…I want to thank Big Blue Nation for the love and support that you guys have shown throughout this past year,” Anthony wrote.

“With that being said, I plan to enter the transfer portal with four years of eligibility left. In my next chapter, I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me.”

Listed at 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, Anthony was a 4-star prospect and the No. 17 ATH in the nation for the 2022 recruiting class per the 247 Sports Composite. He was 1 of 11 players rated as a 4-star prospect in Kentucky’s 2022 recruiting class.

Anthony saw action in 2 games as a true freshman. He also participated in track and field for Kentucky, including capturing an SEC silver medal in the 60m.
