Kentucky redshirt junior Stephen Johnson has been named Manning Quarterback of the Week for his exceptional individual performance in the team’s 41-38 upset win over rival Louisville last Saturday.

Johnson finished 16-of-27 (59.3 percent) with a career-high 338 yards, three touchdowns and an interception with an additional 83 yards rushing (also a personal best) against the then-No. 11 Cardinals. He engineered a seven-play, 60-yard drive that consumed 1:33 and led to the winning, 47-yard field goal with 12 seconds remaining in the game.

Kentucky (7-5, 4-4) will be headed to its first bowl game since 2010.
