Kevin Harris is going pro. After a big game in South Carolina’s victory over North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, Harris announced he is declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Harris had 31 carries for 182 yards and a touchdown in the Gamecocks’ 38-21 win over UNC Thursday in Charlotte. It was Harris’ biggest game of 2021 and just the second time this year he went over 100 yards (128 yards against Florida on Nov. 6).

Harris’ most productive year at South Carolina was in 2020 when he carried the ball 185 times for 1,138 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging an SEC-leading 113.80 yards per game.

Harris entered the bowl game with 121 carries for 475 yards and 3 TDs during the 2021 regular season.
