Kevin Sumlin says he’s proud of team’s response given job speculation all season

Texas A&M’s win over Ole Miss was a game of adjustments at halftime, coach Kevin Sumlin said after the Aggies’ 31-24 victory.
The Aggies got the win after they trailed 24-21 at halftime. Sumlin said his defense did a good job in the second half of creating negative-yardage plays and “forcing the issue.”
A key play was an interception turned touchdown by Derrick Tucker, who scored from 19 yards out.
It was a solid road win that takes the Aggies to 7-4 as they prepare to play LSU next week.
Here is what Sumlin told reporters after the game.

Sumlin said freshman Derrick Tucker missed all of fall camp because he had his knee scoped.

Sumlin: [Tucker] has been that [guy] all year. He missed all of fall camp. He scoped his knee and didn't even practice in camp. He has continued to get better every week. His comfort level on the field now is [far advanced]. Pick 6 was a [turning] point in the game.
