Kevin Sumlin says Texas A&M is ‘most stable’ program in the state of Texas

It’s been a tumultuous season in the state of Texas.
The Longhorns have a new coach in Tom Herman, who they poached from Houston, which lost its first game under new coach Major Applewhite.
Meanwhile, the horrendous scandal at Baylor continues, TCU fell to a disappointing 6-6 this year and Texas Tech failed to qualify for a bowl game.
All of that led Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin to declare that the Aggies currently have the most stable program in the state during a Tuesday press conference:
Kevin Sumlin: We've been talking about where we are as a program in the state and in our league. We're the most stable in the state.

Though Sumlin’s Aggies may be the most stable program in the state, as he enters his sixth season at the helm in 2017, he’ll need to show signs of improvement or things could quickly change in College Station.
The 8-4 Aggies take on Kansas State in the Texas Bowl on Wednesday, Dec. 28. The game kicks off at 8 p.m. Central time and can be seen on ESPN.
