Texas A&M goes into the Music City Bowl with questions at quarterback. Now, the team will be without one of its top weapons.

Aggies sophomore receiver Speedy Noil has been suspended for the team’s Music City Bowl against Louisville on Wednesday night. The suspension was reported by 247Sports, and then confirmed to media members by Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin on Tuesday.

It was also reported that Noil will also miss next season’s season-opener against UCLA.

Noil also missed the team’s game against Western Carolina on Nov. 14 for a violation of team rules. The reason, and duration, for this particular suspension is unknown.

Noil ranks 4th on the team with 226 yards off 21 catches this season with two touchdowns in nine games this season. Noil, the No. 1 receiver in the Class of 2014, had a very promising freshman campaign by ranking 3rd on the team with 583 yards off 46 catches, five of which were touchdowns.
