The team will already be without fellow receiver Ja’Corey Brooks and key defenders Deontae Lawson and Jaylen Key. Burton leads the team in receiving touchdowns and yards. Lawson and Key are 2nd and 3rd respectively in tackles for the Tide.
The Tide are heavy favorites against the Wildcats in Lexington. With a win, the Tide would have their 8th victory in a row and improve to 9-1 on the season. If the Wildcats can pull off the upset, they would improve to 7-3 and secure their first victory over the Tide since 1997.
Without Burton, the Tide will likely rely on Isaiah Bond and Kobe Prentice. Jalen Milroe will also likely be a force on the ground today against the Wildcats’ rush defense.
The Wildcats and Tide will kick off from Lexington at Noon Eastern.
