Report: Key Arkansas WR Brandon Martin not listed on roster, not currently with team

2018 is supposed to be a huge year for former JUCO standout Brandon Martin, but it appears that Martin has hit a roadblock.
In the Hogs’ 2018 media guide, Martin isn’t listed, and he’s currently not with the team, per WholeHogSports.com. He’s run into an academic issue that needs resolution, per the report.
The 2017 expectations were certainly high for Martin, and things never really progressed last season. He struggled with injuries, recording just nine catches for 119 yards. He also missed some time this spring.
Martin would be an easy choice for the Hogs’ breakout player in 2018, but he’ll need to turn things around in the classroom before that transpires, it appears.
The 6-foot-4, 219-pound pass catcher was rated the No. 1 JUCO WR in the country for the class of 2017, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Arkansas certainly hopes Martin can become a red zone threat in 2018.
