Auburn will be without one key defender for the first half of Saturday’s game against South Carolina but could be getting another back, according to a Wednesday report.

Tom Green of AL.com is reporting, per a source, that EDGE defender Romello Height is expected to play Saturday after missing the previous 3 games.

Height’s return would boost an Auburn defense that will be missing T.D. Moultry for the first half against the Gamecocks. Moultry was called for targeting in the second half of Auburn’s Week 11 loss to Mississippi State.

Height has played in 7 games this season, recording 17 total tackles, including 3 for loss, plus 2 quarterback hurries.

Auburn-South Carolina is set for 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT, airing on ESPN.
