Alabama is facing No. 5 Kentucky in a tough SEC contest Saturday night, and the Crimson Tide will be without a key piece of the bench vs. the Wildcats.
According to Charlie Potter with 247 Sports, Alabama has announced that forward Darius Miles will miss the game. Miles is suspended for Saturday’s game due to a violation of team rules.

Miles has appeared in 20 games with 1 start and averages more than 17 minutes per game this season. He is averaging 6.7 points and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 41% from the floor.
Saturday is a third-straight game vs. a top-5 opponent for Alabama. The Crimson Tide started that stretch with a huge home win vs. then-No. 4 Baylor before a road loss against No. 1 Auburn.
Thankfully, Saturday’s game is at home where the Tide are riding a 3-game winning streak and are 3-1 at home in SEC play. Alabama’s last loss at home was an 81-77 defeat to No. 1 Auburn.
