A key Georgia RB and one of the main offensive returners from the 2022 championship team will miss the remainder of spring practices with an injury per multiple reports.
According to Seth Emerson with The Athletic, Kendall Milton will miss the final 3 weeks of spring practices. Milton is reportedly dealing with an injured hamstring that will keep him sidelined.
Heading into the 2023 season, Milton was expected to be one of the key pieces of Georgia’s backfield alongside Daijun Edwards. The team’s leading rusher from a season ago, Kenny McIntosh, is off to the NFL.
Between the two returning pieces, Milton was the more explosive of the two while averaging 6.9 yards per carry. He was also 3rd on the team with 590 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns.
Hopefully, this proves to be a minor setback for Milton and the Bulldogs. At this point, there’s no reason to believe Milton will not be available for the start of fall practices, but he will certainly miss some valuable practice time this spring.
