Kirby Smart will be inducted into the Georgia High School Football Hall of Fame later this year.

Smart was announced as part of the Hall’s 2025 class on Tuesday morning. This will be the 4th class in the Hall’s history, which includes numerous other former Georgia players including Tom Nash, Jack Roberts, Paul Gilbert and more.

Smart earned all-state honors while playing for Bainbridge High School back in 1993. Of course, the Georgia head coach went on to play for the Bulldogs at the collegiate level as well.

The Georgia High School Hall of Fame is still relatively new, but it has already inducted numerous players who went on to have high-profile careers in college football and the NFL. Thomas Davis, Demaryius Thomas, Frank Broyles, Quincy Carter, Jeff Saturday, Eric Berry, Calvin Johnson, David Pollack, Champ Bailey, Hines Ward, Charlie Ward and Herschel Walker are a few of the names who were inducted in previous classes.

Kirby Smart also joins his offensive coordinator, Mike Bobo, in the Georgia High School Football Hall of Fame. Bobo was a standout quarterback at Thomasville High School before playing at Georgia in college. He was inducted in 2023.

This year’s class will be inducted on Oct. 25.
