Holyfield’s son, Elijah, is committed to play football for the Bulldogs. So Georgia fans best get used to having this celebrity as a visible part of its fanbase.
Elijah Holyfield is rated as a four-star prospect and as the fifth-best RB in his recruiting class, according to 247 Sports’ composite ratings.
According to Marc Weiszer’s report, Holyfield wasn’t the only recruit in attendance for the Bulldogs basketball game, which Texas A&m won 79-45:
Among other recruits in town for official visits this weekend included defensive end Brian Burns from Florida, wide receiver Tre Nixon from Viera, Fla. and safety Jeawaon Taylor from Montgomery, Ala., a Florida commitment.
