Kirby Smart spoke to the media on Tuesday, giving injury updates about various players ahead of the Kentucky game.

One of the more important injuries had to do with the quarterback position. Either JT Daniels or Stetson Bennett IV will be starting at quarterback against the Wildcats. Daniels suffered a lat injury earlier this year.

Smart didn’t really give the specifics, but did mention how Daniels is currently recovering at practice as a limited participant.

Smart stated that Daniels will be on a pitch count at the moment.

Here’s the rest of what Smart had to say about Daniels.

“He hasn’t been able to do a whole lot,” said Smart. “A little more than he did the week before.”

It will be interesting to see if Daniels moves to a full participant before the Kentucky game on Saturday.
