With the early Signing Period just around the corner, the door is closing on the chance to extend scholarship offers.

Georgia has decided to make a late run at one of the top prospects in the 2019 class, Taulia Tagovailoa. The younger brother of Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa, Taulia is rated the No. 6 pro-style quarterback, No. 8 Alabama product and No. 173 recruit overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.

Tagovailoa’s highlights show why he’s highly rated:

The younger Tagovailoa, who plays at Thompson High School (Alabaster, Ala.), has been committed to the Crimson Tide since April 21, but that obviously doesn’t stop UGA and others from trying to flip him.

Notable in this case is the Jake Ganus connection. The former Bulldog is on the coaching staff at Thompson.
