Kirby Smart provides latest update on WR AD Mitchell’s injury

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs haven’t missed a beat after winning the national title last year.
The Bulldogs are 2-0 and up to No. 1 in the AP Poll entering Week 3. The offense is firing on all cylinders, but it took a hit on Saturday when WR AD Mitchell left the game on the first play with an ankle injury.
On Monday, Smart said Mitchell’s status for the upcoming game will be looked at on a day-to-day basis, adding that he wouldn’t be able to practice on Monday:
Kirby on AD Mitchell: Will definitely not be able to practice today. Will evaluate going forward this week.

With a home game against South Carolina looming large, getting Mitchell back in the fold would be big for the Dawgs.
We’ll see what happens with his status as the week progresses.
