Georgia picked up a big win at Auburn on Saturday afternoon and is now up to No. 1 in the AP Poll. The last time Georgia was ranked No. 1 was in a preseason poll back in 2008.
While the Bulldogs are enjoying being the best ranked team in the country, there are still some injuries that continue to hold them back.
Kirby Smart spoke to the media on Tuesday, addressing the injuries and giving updates on the players on the teams injury report.
Kirby Smart says that Chris Smith (shoulder) is working in a black jersey; Jamaree Salyer (ankle) taking reps but is still limited. DB Ameer Speed and WR Dom Blaylock not ready; Seems WRs Jermaine Burton and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint will be able to go. https://t.co/pNVp73xvkS

Defensive back Chris Smith and offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer are still being limited in practice. Wide receivers Jermaine Burton and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint are both available for the next game. The only ones who definitely won’t be ready for the game on Saturday are wide receiver Dom Blaylock and DB Ameer Speed.
No. 1 Georgia and No. 11 Kentucky face off in a battle of undefeated teams at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS on Saturday.
