Kirby Smart provided an update on a key Georgia player who went down with an injury against Missouri on Saturday.

Jamon Dumas-Johnson went down with a shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter of the Bulldogs’ win over Missouri on Saturday, and Smart confirmed after the game that the linebacker appears to have a fracture of his forearm.

Dumas-Johnson has been a big part of Georgia’s defense this season with 27 tackles and 3.5 sacks. The Bulldogs are hoping the injury won’t keep him out for a significant amount of time.

Despite losing a key player down the stretch, Georgia was able to secure a signature win over Missouri. The Tigers took Georgia down to the wire, but the Bulldogs brought in a pair of crucial interceptions to seal the deal in the 4th quarter.

Now Georgia has confidence and momentum as it continues a tough stretch of games. Next week, the Bulldogs will take on Ole Miss before traveling to Knoxville to face Tennessee.
