Kirby Smart at his Early Signing Period press conference on Wednesday reviewed QB Stetson Bennett’s performance in the SEC Championship Game, where he struggled at times.

Smart again stressed that Georgia has 4 really good options at quarterback, and said Bennett made some “boneheaded” plays that he has not done in the past. Smart also said that JT Daniels and Bennett are evaluated each and every day, just like every other position.

“Stetson did some really good things in the Alabama game…He made a couple poor decisions last game, but he wasn’t the only one,” Smart said.

Smart added that Bennett’s feet have been a blessing for Georgia.

“His ability to run, scramble, make things open, make plays with his feet have been good,” Smart said.
