What Kirby Smart said following Georgia’s dominant win over MSU

Published:
Georgia aced its first big SEC test Saturday night.
The No. 11 Bulldogs scored a touchdown on their first offensive play of the night and never looked back. The UGA defense was also able to corral MSU’s dynamic QB Nick Fitzgerald. The Bulldogs in maroon managed just three points and 280 total yards. Fitzgerald threw two interceptions and never looked comfortable after dominating LSU last Saturday.
Georgia looks confident moving forward, and the Bulldogs could find themselves in the top 10 of the next AP Poll. Everything the Bulldogs did Saturday night seemed to work.
Here is what coach Kirby Smart said following the strong performance:
"Our effort was tremendous. We felt like we could run the ball."
