Highlights from Kirby Smart’s post-game presser following Georgia’s 33-24 win over North Carolina in Atlanta:

Smart credited his team’s resiliency and believes his debut win was due to Georgia’s advantage at the line of scrimmage.

Greyson Lambert and Jacob Eason split reps at quarterback. Lambert started the game and recorded 54 yards on 5 of 8 passing. Eason had 131 yards and a touchdown on 8 of 12 passing.

Smart said he’s not ready to make a quarterback decision, but credited both players for their effort Saturday.

Nick Chubb made his first appearance since suffering a knee injury midway through the 2015 season. The junior recorded a Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game record 222 yards and two touchdowns on 32 rushing attempts.

Smart commented on his transition from defensive coordinator to head coach.

Smart also said that Roquan Smith’s third quarter safety was the loudest play he’s ever heard in the Georgia Dome.
