Kirby Smart provided updates on banged up Georgia Bulldogs Saturday evening following a scrimmage.

Notably, running back Kendall Milton and wide receiver Kearis Jackson were held out of Saturday’s scrimmage. Offensive tackle Earnest Greene has also been working with a hamstring injury.

โ€œYeah we had some nicks and bumps and bruises today,โ€ Smart said. โ€œI donโ€™t know the outcome of all those yet. Kearis, I think his ankle or Achilles was bothering him, so about halfway through the scrimmage โ€” he though he couldโ€™ve gone on but we ended up holding him the back half of the scrimmage. Kendall did not go today, again, although heโ€™s much better. Heโ€™s really close to being full speed, having not practiced, weโ€™re not going to put him out there, because he didnโ€™t practice before the scrimmage. But he should be back, full speed. Earnest Greene is still struggling with an upper leg injury.”

Milton missed much of last season with a sprained MCL that he sustained in practice ahead of Florida. He also had shoulder problems early in the season last year and a previous MCL injury against Florida in 2020.
