No. 1 Georgia is in Jacksonville preparing for the Cocktail Party against Florida. While the Dawgs will be set to showcase their elite defense much as they have all season long, there’s continued questions about the health of their receiving corps that they haven’t been able to fully resolve.
However, according to The Athletic’s Seth Emerson, Kirby Smart had some encouraging news regarding 3 in particular: Arian Smith, Jermaine Burton, and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint. Smart told ESPN Radio that all 3 should hopefully be “full speed” against the Gators on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the prognosis isn’t as good for Dominick Blaylock and Justin Robinson, who will miss the game, per Smart. Robinson has had a hamstring issue pop up that will lead to him being unavailable for Saturday. Blaylock hasn’t played since the 2019 SEC Championship Game vs. LSU, leaving that one in the 1st quarter due to a knee injury and then suffering another one in preseason camp in 2020 that wiped out his season.
Kickoff from TIAA Bank Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
