Kirby Smart updates injury status of RB Kendall Milton for Charleston Southern game

Georgia should have smooth sailing across its final 2 regular-season games with a perfect mark in SEC play in the rear view mirror. The Bulldogs host FCS Charleston Southern on Saturday before heading to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech on Nov. 27, then return to Atlanta on Dec. 4 for the SEC Championship.
It appears that the Dawgs will be without running back Kendall Milton for Saturday’s matchup against the Buccaneers, though.
Georgia tailback Kendall Milton (knee) is doubtful to return this week but probable for the Georgia Tech game, per Kirby Smart.
A sophomore, Milton is Georgia's third-leading rusher with 253 yards on 49 carries. He has missed the last three games.

The sophomore hasn’t played since Oct. 16 against Kentucky, taking 4 carries for 33 yards. His best game was a 10-carry, 66-yard performance against South Carolina on Sep. 18. Milton carried 35 times for 193 yards as a freshman in 2020.
Overall, Georgia has averaged 198.4 yards per game, 5th in the SEC. While Zamir White is its leading rusher, it’s received a nice boost from Stetson Bennett, who has been credited with 233 yards and a touchdown on 35 attempts.
Georgia and Charleston Southern kick off at noon ET. It’s a streaming-only game that will be shown on ESPN+ and the SEC Network+.
