Georgia’s bye week was beneficial for at least one of the Bulldogs’ key players.

Sophomore running back D’Andre Swift should play against No. 9 Florida this weekend, Georgia coach Kirby Smart said during his Monday press conference. The No. 7 Bulldogs’ leader in carries missed practice last week with an ankle sprain.

“Swift is fine. He should be practicing today,” Smart said. “He got a lot of rehab over the weekend and should be good to go.”

The rest of Georgia’s injury outlook wasn’t as good, with Smart saying both redshirt sophomore right guard Ben Cleveland and junior defensive end David Marshall won’t play against the Gators. Cleveland has missed the last three games with a leg injury, while Marshall is out indefinitely with an injured foot.

“Don’t know when we’re getting Ben back,” Smart said. “We’re hopeful. He’s been doing more running, he’s been more active. We’ll find out more during the week. But we don’t think he think he’s going to be able to play this game.”

At least Swift will be able to go for the Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) against Florida (6-1, 4-1) when the SEC East rivals clash at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Jacksonville.
