Herbstreit picked 9 total players: 3 from the SEC, 2 from the ACC, 3 from the B1G, and 1 from the AAC.

At No. 1, Herbstreit went with Kyle McCord and Trebor Pena from Syracuse. McCord threw for 380 yards and 3 touchdowns while Pena caught 6 passes for 128 yards and 1 TD.

With the No. 2 spot, Herbstreit went with Texas running back Quintrevion Wisner. Wisner rushed 33 times for 186 yards and caught 2 passes for 21 yards. Wisner’s teammate Vernon Broughton got the No. 5 spot after collecting 3 tackles and 2 sacks.

At No. 3, Herbstreit went with Michigan’s Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant. Graham and Grant combined for 11 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in the upset win over Ohio State. Iowa’s Ethan Hurkett got the No. 4 spot after collecting 5 tackles and 2 sacks in a win over Nebraska.

Next, Herbstreit went with Memphis RB Mario Anderson Jr at No. 6. Anderson took 24 rushes for 177 yards and 1 TD and helped his Tigers knock off Tulane.

Finally, Herbstreit went with LaNorris Sellers of South Carolina to round out his list. Sellers threw for 164 yards and rushed for 166 yards and 2 TDs. The performance helped the Gamecocks knock off Clemson and secure their 9th win of the season.
