Kirk Herbstreit might hail from Ohio State, but he didn’t appease Buckeyes fans with his very early top 5 for next season.
Instead, he has three SEC teams among that group: Alabama at No. 2, LSU at No. 3 and Ole Miss at No. 5.
In fact, no Big Ten teams are represented, and the same can be said for the Big 12. He has Clemson as the top team in the country as quarterback Deshaun Watson will be around for at least one more season.
