In the Nick Saban era, Alabama is known for producing loaded NFL Draft classes. In this year’s draft, much of the first-round buzz surrounds DL Jonathan Allen, LB Reuben Foster, TE O.J. Howard and OT Cam Robinson, but Herbstreit sees LB Ryan Anderson and DT Dalvin Tomlinson. He is also high on former Vanderbilt LB Zach Cunningham, projected as a first-round pick in some mock drafts, and former Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara, whose draft stock has surged this offseason.
Here are the NFL.com draft profile projected rounds for Herbstreit’s SEC steals:
- Ryan Anderson – Rounds 3-4
- Zach Cunningham – Round 2
- Alvin Kamara – Round 2
- Dalvin Tomlinson – Rounds 3-4
While Cunningham and possibly Kamara could get picked tonight, Anderson and Tomlinson are likely Friday or Saturday.
