Perkins had a big day in Ole Miss’s convincing win over Oklahoma in Week 9. He recorded 8 total tackles and a staggering 4 sacks on the afternoon as OU’s offensive line was completely overwhelmed by the Ole Miss pass rush. The Rebels amassed a total of 10 sacks on the day — the most ever given up by an OU team in a single game.
Reed saved the day for Texas A&M, who trailed 17-7 at the half against LSU on Saturday night. After Reed entered the game midway through the 3rd quarter, the Aggies scored on 5 consecutive possessions to earn the win.
Hunter also had a huge day for Auburn as the Tigers won their first SEC game of the year. Hunter rushed for an impressive 278 yards in a 24-10 win over Kentucky in Lexington.
