Kirk Herbstreit on Monday released his top performing players around college football for Week 3’s slate of games.
One SEC player made the list, and it’s not much of a surprise: Georgia tight end Brock Bowers. Bowers scored the 1st 3 touchdowns of his season on Saturday at South Carolina, two through the air and one on the ground. The defending national champions won 48-7 and improved to 3-0 on the season, and return home to take on Kent State on Sept. 25.
Also on Herbstreit’s list were Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., Penn State running back Nick Singleton, Kansas QB Jalon Daniels, Appalachian State wide receiver Christian Horn, and Florida State WR Johnny Wilson.
