Headlining the ESPN analyst’s list of the top players from Saturday’s games is LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, who led the Tigers to a 45-20 home win over then-No. 7 Ole Miss.
The Arizona State transfer passed for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns and added 121 rushing yards and 3 additional scores against the Rebels.
Also recognized by Herbstreit was Oregon quarterback Bo Nix.
The former Auburn signal caller led the Ducks to their sixth consecutive win Saturday, as he passed for 283 yards and 5 TDs to help Oregon top previously unbeaten UCLA.
